Mills Scofield is the founder of Mills-Scofield LLC, a business strategy consultancy and a Partner at Glengary LLC, a Cleveland, Ohio early stage Venture Capital firm. She’s been recognized as a Top 40 Innovation Blogger (Innovation Excellence, 2011) and is responsible for codifying a mentoring process which will be instituted at Brown University starting Fall 2017 in alignment the university president’s goal of every student having a mentor.
She is helping companies develop profitable innovation-oriented strategies and rewarding opportunities for employees while requesting that her clients match 10% of her fee with social good action in their community. Co-Created one of the first undergraduate concentrations in Cognitive Science while at Brown University in 1982. Holds one of AT&T’s top revenue-generating patents.
Women’s Launchpad which provides mentoring by women alumni in business for senior women at Brown; Student Startups; Entrepreneurship Program and Venture Fellowship; Social Innovation Fellowship; Women in Science & Engineering. Presents workshops at numerous universities.

I see a lot of joy ahead of me—with my family and then with more and different clients I can help and learn from and with my expanding base of mentees who teach me so very much and keep me young on so many levels—I can’t see myself ‘retiring’ as long as my brain is clear, but I can see myself shifting how I allocate time—based on the season, opportunities, the tides.
